What is Web to Draft?

Web to Draft is a Chrome extension that turns the selected private note and its bidirectionally connected notes into a concise requirements draft while preserving page-location evidence.

Does AI automatically read all my notes?

No. AI runs only when you press Draft and receives only that note's private connected component, capped at 10 notes. Screenshots, comments, group data, form inputs, and full HTML are excluded.

Is my data private?

Yes. Without sign-in, annotation data stays on your device. Signed-in private Draft data is owner-only in Web to Draft's Supabase project. Pressing Draft sends only the selected private connected notes and sanitized location evidence to Upstage; group members receive only highlights you separately choose to share.

Does it work on local files?

Web to Draft works on regular web pages, local HTML files (file://), and localhost. Chrome's built-in PDF viewer is not supported. For file:// pages, enable "Allow access to file URLs" for Web to Draft in Chrome's extension settings.
